Our Generous Donors

We all know that it takes money to keep a ministry like Marygrove alive and growing. If it wasn't for benefactors, Marygrove simply couldn't continue to operate. The generous supporters of Marygrove give in many ways.

In recent months, Marygrove has received a wide variety of contributions and donations. Some benefactors have sold stock and given the proceeds to the retreat house, while others have designated funds from charitable foundations or matching workplace grants. When the Knights of Columbus of Iron Mountain/Kingsford learned that the Marygrove lounge television was beyond repair, they donated a replacement. Friends of Marygrove have also offered their expertise and service when the need arises. And of course, there are the beloved members of Marygrove's Patron Club who give so generously every year.

In the past two years, Marygrove has received generous bequests from the estates of two Catholic priests of the Diocese of Marquette. It was due to the generosity of Fr. David Harris and Fr. Milton Vanitvelt that the front entrance of Marygrove was restored and the renovation of the first floor guest rooms wing was completed. Both Fr. Harris and Fr. Vanitvelt loved Marygrove and enjoyed their retreats here. Please remember these two men in your prayers.

Marygrove is supported only by your contributions and donations for retreat participation. We are a 501(c)(3), which means we are registered as a full non-profit organization. All contributions are fully tax deductible.

Marvgrove Patrons' Club
Consider becoming a member of the Marygrove Patrons' Club or renewing your current membership. For years, the Patrons' Club has not only assisted with the operating costs of Marygrove, it also has provided the means for renovations and special additions to the Marygrove buildings and grounds.
